Founding Engineer

We're looking for engineers passionate about the hard problems in computing.

What you might work on

Distributed systems with fast in-memory snapshots and recovery
Serverless runtimes similar to AWS Lambda and Google Cloud Functions
HPC control planes for orchestrating clusters of GPUs
Libraries for handling raw HTTP, TCP, or Redis protocols
Kubernetes operators and schedulers

About you

We're not looking for someone who checks every box, but rather candidates who are "spikey" or exceptional in at least one direction. You might be a good fit if you:

Wrote a container runtime from scratch because you wanted to understand how they work
Built a programming language or compiler
Made your own implementation of a database

We're seeking highly technically opinionated people. Please lecture us on some weird Python feature we don't know or show us your really strongly held opinion about hooks.

Process

We move quickly. A few short technical conversations, then an onsite where you work on a real problem with the team. Expect an offer within two weeks.
